1.  Harvest Sleep in the Deep: Family Sleepover

  • Ever wonder what it would be like to sleep under the peaks alongside sharks, stingrays, and more? Join Tennessee Aquarium for an overnight adventure complete with a guided tour of both aquarium buildings, an IMAX film, and pizza dinner. An aquarium expert will show you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to care more than 10,000 animals. Finally, bed down alongside the target exhibit, with some of the ocean’s greatest predators!

2.  Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights

  • Nov 17, 2017 – January 6, 2018, 6-9pm
  • For the holiday season, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights is a family tradition! This year’s light extravaganza showcases more than 30 holiday scenes and nearly a million LED lights that transform the gardens’ natural daytime splendor into a winter wonderland. Enjoy gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and nightly entertainment. This event is a local favorite that you won’t want to miss!

3.  HoHo Expo

  • November 17 10am-5pm and November 18 11am-5pm
  • Kick off your holiday shopping at Chattanooga’s favorite annual shopping extravaganza. 100+ unique merchants will be selling specialty holiday items, clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, home accessories, toys and more. There will also be activities for the whole family!

4.  Thanksgiving Market

  • November 19, 11am-4pm
  • Begin holiday preparations at the market with local meats, cheeses, breads, produce and homemade/homegrown foods for your family gathering. Give unique, handmade gifts, by supporting our local artisan community while you kickoff your holiday shopping. Enjoy the last chance to come to the market outdoors for the season before the Holiday Market comes to the Chattanooga Convention Center. You won’t want to miss this

5.  Opening Day 2017 at Ice on the Landing

  • November 17, 6pm-11pm
  • Come enjoy the opening weekend of ice skating with your family and friends. Whether you’re a pro ice skater, or closer to a newborn deer, you’re sure to enjoy the fresh ice and live music from organist Buddy Shirk.

6. Snow Day at Creative Discovery Museum

  • November 18, 12-4pm
  • The flurries are here at the Creative Discovery Museum – join our friends Jack Frost, Suzy Snowflake and more as the first snowfall of the year comes to Chattanooga! Wintery activities are offered between the snowflake, including holiday themed art station, snowflake tortillas, face paint, a puppet performance, hot cocoa, a dance party, and more!
